Been there done that... the ol' man cave had solar panels, batteries and in
case of excessive consumption a 320W atx supply.  However the same problem
still holds, unless you're drawing close to the 320W rating you're going to
be getting horrible efficieny out of it.  The flip side, for a shorter time I
had raft of wall wart powered devices running of much the same setup..
probably end up looking at that again I think.  We're getting some shocking
electrickery price rises here, and its going to become a turn off or find
much better efficieny than I have now.
