I got hold of a "standard" 5v 5A supply and wired a USB-A socket onto it to
power my piZero and assorted stuff hanging off it.  2x Cameras and a
thermometer, on a USB hub.  I found the nominal 2.1A wall warts would
struggle... it also struggled supplying enough 5v straight the on board USB
ports too.. so wired the hub directly into the power supply as well..

Not sure about USB3 ports but 1s and 2s only supply the regular 500mA per
port.
