I totally understand that. When covid started I helped out with a local
charity that collected laptops for students who had to do remote-schooling
but did not have a computer. A buddy of mine did al the systems that could
handle windows, I got all the older ones and installed Linux on them (a
minimal version of mate) I loved doing that and giving them a new lease on
life.
