He'd left ID to form a company called ION Storm, and there was a lot of buzz. I went into the release with the web site running on a Sun Ultra 2 running Netscape comm server and FTP, a Pentium Pro 200 running a second FTP site, and a 486/66 running DNS. That smallish kit handled something like 500 simultaneous FTP sessions. I kept the 486 afterwards. ....
