Chuckle, I never had a great deal of issue with SCSI. The largest drama on
the II was the SCSI tools not being terribly robust.  So occasionally I'd
have to take drives around to a friend with a Mac to have them beaten into
submission. Also getting IDs right was problematic.  Otherwise... some chains
developed foibles where you'd have to power on in the right sequence, or as
I've mentioned before a system with a stictioned drive supplying term power
for a functional one, and suddenly coming to life confusing me no end for a
bit.
