He just can't carry it like he used to. It got old real quick. That's what ploughing through 3 marriages including a gold-digging bitch will do you. I think he got drunk and fell off a ladder or something. > NR> How was the Paul Simon show? > > I thought it was pretty good. It was around 2005, I think, and I remember > him playing some of his older Simon & Garfunkel songs and some from his > Graceland album etc.. Graceland was a fantastic album. He said himself that the song Graceland was probably the best song he's ever written. I'm not so sure but it has some great lines in it. Another good story teller with his songs and music. > I think that's the thing about it - It's music that's easy to listen to and > fun when you feel like that kind of thing. I liked the Beatles too. I > suppose I have a range of music I like.. I'm the same. I have expanded somewhat. I did an oldies show on KXEZ 92.1 here in Dallas with another Brit, called The British Invasion, we did 2 hours of British oldies so I got more of an appreciation doing that than anything else. the Beatles were in the right place at the right time I think. It's not as if they were amazing musicians, maybe with the exception of Ringo, but they could put songs together. > It would have been fun to see some of those bands back then. I was a bit > young to be going to concerts at that time though. Well...I'm not giving my age away on here...but I'm sure I've mentioned it before somewhere. > That's cool. :) I actually don't have any signed concert tickets.. I'll try and get you one next time :) > Yeah, I know he did some good stuff (one song of his I can think of is 'He > Blinded Me With Science'; I don't remember offhand what else he did). Hyperactive I think was his other big one and Windpower. .
