You gotta simply start somewhere and mark it "DONE" somehow.  
Maybe just take a picture of a pile that is DONE.  And/or work  
your way thru in one particular direction (clockwise, counter- 
clockwise) in a room, and then just start AND finish each  
collection on a PER room basis.

Get the ones in the closet done first.
Then, move on to the bookshelf.
Then, do the hallways stacks in a consecutive manner.
