CB>> then of course you got rose tattoo, ac/dc (durr), divinyls etc as well.... Sp> We had a raft of bands back then... Cold Chisel, The Angels, going back a Sp> bit, Masters Apprentices, Skyhooks, The Sunnyboys... we had the massive pub rock scene going on. Unfortunately it all died Sp> when they bought out pokies here.. over a 1-2 year period every venue turned into a House of Mammon, gambling den. yea... and like over here when the pokies came around even though technically gambling is illegal outside of the seminole tribe lands (the people who own the hard rock casinos etc), i know someone that runs a small place out in the middle of nowhere and it's amazing how many people come in with a couple hundred bucks... win 800 and then go home broke. Sp> Rose Tattoo even flew under the radar for a lot of locals too. But they put out some good stuff, Rock n' Roll Outlaw, Bad Sp> boy for love, and the immortal "Stuck on you" who could pass up the lines.... "I had a fish named sam, he lived in a bowl, I Sp> heated up the water so he wouldn't get cold, now he's gone now he's gone". yeasame with the uk stuff.... amazing how many people are listening to stuff that we listened to "new" and thinking it's a recent song lol regards === Charles Blackburn The F.B.O BBS 21:1/221 618:250/36 bbs.thefbo.us IPV4/V6 DOVE-Net FSX-Net MicroNET USENET --- SBBSecho 3.15-Linux * Origin: The FBO BBS - bbs.thefbo.us (21:1/221) .
