I got into music late in life really, I'd buy the odd single but I never really had a goto band. I was introduced to Dire Straits and Genesis in about 1986 (I was 15 or so at the time). I neded up listening to a copy of Alchemy by Dire Straits on my 1.5 hour each way bus commute until the tape broke.

I am not a huge radio person. It's the same music over and over again anyway. Tired of listening to the same 3 Eagles or same 3 U2 songs. There's much more variety out there.
