That's one reason I don't collect vinyl albums..  Another example is (I've heard) the vinyl version of Dire Straits' Brothers In Arms album doesn't have the full version of Money For Nothing (and maybe another song or two) because the vinyl doesn't have as much room as CDs.

I also don't really like that you typically get some hiss and pops/crackles from vinyl..  I just tend to prefer a CD or other digital form of a recording.
