He got his start with a group called "Steelers Wheel" in the early '70's. After
this group broke up and numerous lawsuits which kept from releasing any albums
until the late '70's. In the late '70's...he released "City to City". This
album has many of his most famous hits...such as "Baker Street". After
that...he released "Night Owl".  You Tube has several of the video appearances
from this period.

Was a massive hit...along with several others on "City to City". He refused to
tour or work with others (Eric Clapton & such) who wanted to work with him.
Have heard this was because of what happened from "Steelers Wheel". 

For the rest of his life...he would do some concerts...but he ended up dying of
liver cancer from his demons. If I remember right...he was on tour & kept
telling people he was going to continue touring...but died. 

Thing about "Baker Street"...it will be playing at my memorial service.
