It makes me sad that his demons got him. For instance...was reading something his daughter mentioned that while he was growing up...his mother told him that she wished she had never had him. This being the case...I can understand this...since I've seen things like this in my own life. Please let me know. Probably have the song in my collection. Very true! Having worked in classic rock stations over my life...heard stories that people like Clapton and others wanted to work with him when he hit it big on his own. He didn't like touring or support his albums...which I heard was because of what happened with Steelers Wheels legal issues during the mid-70's. Makes me VERY happy there are others who enjoyed him...especially since he left us way too early. Not only that...but "Baker Street" is going to be the main song played at my memorial service. Want to see a great cover of this...Rick Springfield has been recently doing his cover of the song. Blows me away on how the song may've sounded before Ravencroft was brought in for the sax part. Another one which blows me away is Al Stewart...especially where his most famous work was done with Alan Parsons as the producer. Add to that my vanity call letters from the FCC: KA0TT. ....
