Depends on what you think as metal.  A bit of Steppenwolf, DIO, sprinkling of ¨Black Sabbath... I'd even go as far as some 80's like Twisted Sister, Motley ¨Crue...  not sure there's a lot of compression or limiting going on in ¨there.. but I'm far from an expert... I just like what I like... :)
