Klaus Meine is a METAL cultural icon! He single-handedly created the hair 
style now known as the "Skullet", when a metal dude suffers from male 
pattern baldness but keeps the length.

I have a serious soft spot for The Scorpions. I was in high school when 
"Animal Magnetism" and "Blackout" came out.

Trivia bit: Blackout's cover of the guy grimacing with bandages around his 
head with forks tearing at his eyes was painted by Gottfried Helnwein. He's 
done a collection of similarly disturbing paintings.
