You can keep erasure :P  I did enjoy Ultravox, The Church were also pretty
nifty, "Under the MilkyWay".  We had a raft of pub rock bands that were still
kicking at that stage.... The Angels, Hunters and Collectors, Noiseworks all
come to mind.  PLus a few strange really local offerings like "The Melody
Lords"
