I don't know how it was where you are, but here like with fashions it went
through cycles from heavily produced/jingles/sound beds/etc to just boring
more song<>song seques and cue-card reading with NO ad-libbing! I prefer to
ad-lib, crack a one liner here and there... have some production to my show,
keep a tight board. 

I suppose if you count the commercial station in Canada that would air my 
stream when I went to doing live-show podcasting then I was on until 2009.
