We ran the 1st DOOM meetup on 02/04/2024 and it was a blast! We had more than 15 BBS users join the fun and things went pretty smoothly.

It was just as fun as online DOOM ever was - some players were better than others, but all had a good time! We allowed 6 players, and players would take turns spectating so everyone got in the game... it was really neat seeing so many handles that I know from fsxNet, all fragging it out in real time!

At any rate, we're gonna do this every 1st Saturday of the month @ 6PM PST / 9PM EST. Detailed instructions on setting up Zandronum/DoomSeeker are on 2oFB in the DOOM Menu, if needed...

We're gonna switch maps around each time - next month, 03/02/2024, we're gonna play DWANGO5... its one of the most iconic multiplayer map packs ever released for DOOM 2. MAP01 is probably the most played map of all time... you can practice on the DWANGO5 maps all month long; they are live right now on the 20 FOR BEERS DOOM server!
