Yeah, I was going to reply to this but then I figured I'd wait and see if
someone else already had. Goldeneye *might* be the first multiplayer on
console, but it's definitely not the first multi-player FPS. Depending on how
far you want to stretch the definition of FPS, that *might* be Midi Maze on
the Atari ST, which dates back to the late 80s.
