I hope that's not what you took from my message.  I just recommend being careful.  Eventually the vanilla game does get kind of boring, so IGMs are an opportunity to add a little flavor.

Try playing LORD on Doorparty for a while (don't engage with the idiots).  They've got a rolling selection of IGMs so you can see some of what I was talking about.
