Al> https://dxx-rebirth.com Al> I read that descent 3 was opensourced recently but I haven't tried that. Yes - I have installed dxx-rebirth and have played them on my PC. I just thought it was interesting that there was a newer sequel, for those who may be interested. dxx-rebirth is cool in that it preserves the look and feel of the original games. Overload makes use of newer hardware with more modern texturing and lighting, and has new levels. For those who like the original Descent games, there are other projects that use the original Descent & Descent 2 levels but can make use of newer PC hardware. One such project is D2X-XL: https://www.descent2.de Nightfox --- SBBSecho 3.20-Linux * Origin: Digital Distortion: digdist.synchro.net (21:1/137) .
