I keep hearing great things about the Ryzen. I built a few desktops back in my day with AMD, and every single time I've done that I ALWAYS eventually had heating issues on the processor. I was constantly re-applying thermal past every 6-12 months after the first year... This was on 3 systems I built using the same specs on all three except for the video card.

Has AMD gotten better when it comes to heat?
