My setup here is different from yours since I am a point and everything goes to 4/106, so I can't test the different export settings. I wonder if setting your point to direct would work better? When I was running Mystic as a node all exports were either crash or hold and echo and netmail was always sent directly to nodes or points whether it was crashed or held. I haven't used the normal and direct export types, and I am not sure what the difference between them is. Another netmail coming your way as a test! Ttyl :-), Al ....
