And that's what I've configured in GoldEd. But SBBS is adding the "ASCII" CHRS kludge, I don't know if it is also converting something. I'll have a look at the GoldEd config, maybe I just set "ASCII" there and look what is happening :) On the other hand, I discovered the "Digital Distortion Message Reader" in SynchroNet and will try that.
