Yes, that is the way SBBS works. The tearline and origin is added when messages are scanned out. BBBS works this way too.

When using golded you can control tear and origin lines in echomail with the CTRLINFOECHO keyword in your config. It can be left blank when using SBBSecho.

The CTRLINFONET can be used in netmail areas.
