Hmmm so I have no solution, batch file is there and functioning. I can see
the modified msgtmp file with the kludge in it.  Somehow it appears that The
Reader isn't picking up the modified version though. Which was working
through the HUDSON base originally. This could well make for a lot of Tess
messages, trying to sort it out.
