There's a couple of ideas kicking around for a improved webring and updated
mod based on one Gryphon created a few years back. 

Changes to the nodelist adding extra fields are being mooted as is a new
document that could perhaps better serve the needs of the above (and perhaps
other yet to be thought of ideas) in lieu of using the nodelist.
