There is also absolutely an issue with the SSL portion and I don't know if
its related to cryptlib or Mystic's implementation of Cryptlib (probably the
latter).

So there seems to be a few issues going on.

I am able to get a problem to happen only when using Cryptlib and as soon as
I turn it off it works fine, so that is where I am at now on my side of
things.

This seems a little too familiar to the random timeouts we had when using the
opportunitic BINKP SSL too.  Turns out there probably wasn't a bug in the
implementation of it, but rather with cryptlib (or my code interfacing with
it).
