The advantage to MBSE if Avon wanted to go down that route, is that the
code is maintained to this day and is in active dev. It also will compile
on both 32/64bit systems.

My setup for news groups is like this:

MBSE talks to Leafnode (Filtering features), and leafnode talks to the
NNTP server (In this case it's Avon's).
