The first thing that comes to mind it to be sure both zip and unzip are installed on your machine. If zip is missing outbound mail will silently vanish if a node is configured to use zip. If you let us know what's happening we could walk through the process and help you get over any issues you are having. Sometimes that can take time but I have lots of time.. :) Ttyl :-), Al ....
