Thanks. But that wasnt quite what I was looking for. That only lists the
messages like a scan, depending on the options you set.

I want to just pull up the lightbar message selector for the current message
base/group selected to select the email i wish to read (without haviong to
give a starting number like MR does). Maybe I can do it in an mpl, i dont
know. I dont know the command that will run that. Surely you can do this.
