I'm seeing the numbers occasionally through Mystic too but not on my SBBS point. For instance your lucky number on this one was 134. This is just while logged in and using the normal message reader, no NNTP. I've checked the ones I've spotted against the headers for each message and there seems to be a pattern. Each number would "fit in" where a node number is missing at the end of a seen-by kludge. The line also contains a variable quantity of whitespace after the number. eg: [snip] >SEEN-BY: 2/116 118 119 120 1202 121 123 124 126 127 128 129 130 131 132 133 >SEEN-BY: 2/135 136 137 138 139 140 141 142 144 145 147 148 150 151 152 154 155 >SEEN-BY: 2/156 158 159 160 161 162 163 164 165 166 167 3/100 4/100 >PATH: 2/136 100 >MSGID: 21:2/136 281ee3e5 >TZUTC: -0500 >134 [snip] >SEEN-BY: 2/105 106 107 108 109 110 111 112 113 114 115 116 118 119 120 1202 >SEEN-BY: 2/123 124 126 127 128 129 130 131 132 133 134 135 136 137 138 139 140 >SEEN-BY: 2/141 142 144 145 147 148 150 151 152 154 155 156 158 159 160 161 162 >SEEN-BY: 2/163 164 165 166 167 3/100 4/100 5/100 >PATH: 1/100 2/100 >121 --- SBBSecho 3.11-Linux * Origin: Subcarrier BBS (21:2/140.1) .
