Thank you for such a detailed response.  That is a lot easier than I thought
it might be.  I may want to do some formatting to have it be green DOS-like
text on a black screen with some headings but, other than that I am fine with
just having folders, text files, etc.

I will follow the link you sent on the equivalent of a gopher index page and
go from there.
