Thank you both!  Changing the packet ID got me a step closer.  Unfortunately,
now I am receiving an "Unable to Open Data Connection" error.  I check to
ensure that FTP ports forward to my BBS.

Exported @vert.rep -> 0 msgs 
Connecting via FTP to vert.synchro.net

Downloading QWK packet
Unable to open data connection

Also, is there a way to auto-create message bases for QWK-style networks or
only FIDO-style?
