Hmmm, you got me thinking. I run mis via a systemd script. I think there's a way systemd can monitor for changes to a file (like an upgrade) and it'll trigger a task once it detects something, so maybe there can be an automatic way to invoke the setcap command to run as root once it notices mis has been updated.
