This was actually the first thing I tried,  all the directorys are set as
chown to my user account on the machine.  Everything launched but the telnet
and binkp ports were unable to initialize on the mis server when launch as a
regular user account.

I had modified the autoexec located in /etc/dosemu

Should I be modifying it in the user directory instead?
