Yes, i found this also the hard way, in many occasions of MPY :)

I also saw in your script, that you loop through the file, that contains the
animated info, while it is open. I am not sure what will happen if the
connection drops while the file is open, but to avoid that, read the whole
file in memory once, with a list or dictionary,close the file and loop through
the list. ;)
