Gamgee is running Synchronet so may be able to use the same thing.

It doesn't work so well here on my slackware box for reasons that are unknown 
to me. I suppose and hope it works better on debian / Ubuntu but I don't know.

When I first started hearing of python on Mystic it worked OK for me but not 
now and I don't know why.
