Well that's an explanation at least. It only happens on rare occations so
it's not that big of a problem. I wonder if there is a way to issue that
<Ctrl-O> to get things back to normal when this happens?

I wonder what that graphics mode is used for?

Yep, it's just a character.. I don't think we want to filter it out.
