I think what you want to do is in postie.toml you have your links in
there and your addresses etc.

No, file areas are special and make up a filearea array (a little like
netmail areas are different from echomail areas.

For FSX_NODE, you might have

[[filearea]]
aka = "21:1/162.5"
database = "fb_fsx_node"
directory = "C:\\path\\to\\fsx\\node\\files"
tag = "FSX_NODE"
links = "21:1/162"


The database should be the same as configured in the file area toml file,
and the directory is where the files will be stored (best if it's the
same as in the file area toml)

links would probably be your boss node not paul if you're running as a
point.
