I think having a Talisman tosser is a good idea. As you know (lol) that's where I got hung up; compiling hpt is not super well documented. It'd def. be a point of friction for new sysops. I think what makes packages like Mystic and Synchronet so accessible is that mailers/tossers are bundled.
