Yeah, it should. I guess you'd have to use netfoss etc.

It is supposed to use QuickBBS style for the external editor, and it puts
the MSGTMP / MSGINF in the temp/[node]/ folder.

So you'd just have your external editor line in the talisman ini to point
to a batch file that loads up netfoss and the dos editor.
