Subj : Hatching Files & HappyNet? To : All From : apam Date : Tue Jun 16 2020 17:40:04 Hi Today I wrote a file hatching tool for magicka. There are still more tools to make (filefix, and improved ticproc supporting downlinks). I'd like to test it with some different systems, and am wondering if anyone is keen to help test? So I figure I'm going with happynet to test this, for now I just need a couple of downlinks to send files to. We'd need to work it out via email, because passwords. I think I have happyland setup to hub with magimail, so it would be a matter of adding any interested people as downlinks, so I'd need to know your details, and assign you a node number. I don't plan on getting crazy with nodelists, and application forms etc and at present i'm only looking for a few people (I want to see if it works before going crazy and stress testing things). So what would you need to do? Just setup HPY_GEN message area on your bbs, and HPY_TEST file area, then when I send out a file keep an eye to see if it barfs or goes in your file area or whatever (I'll let you know one is coming in HPY_GEN) Ideally I'd like magicka and tools to be able to participate in a hub like setting for fsxnet (or any other net for that matter) but that is a way off. If you're interested in helping send me an email (apamment@yandex.com) please don't apply if you're just going to set it and forget it :) Andrew --- MagickaBBS v0.15alpha (Linux/x86_64) * Origin: HappyLand - telnet://magickabbs.com:2023/ (21:1/126) .
