Don't worry about making suggestions, I'm grateful for the input. Some
suggestions may be more work than others, but then I may get around to
them later than others - or in some cases not at all.

My pain in the butt comment was more directed at myself as I should have
not been using constants in the beginning, and made it more work for
myself than it should have been. (but then, I am also learning a lot as
I go..)

Another one that I should have done from the start is support ascii
connections.

There are a few big tasks to do, another is deleting messages, this is
on the back burner for now.

As I said earlier my time is a bit more limited going forward, so things
will take longer. Perhaps a to-do list somewhere is in order so I don't
forget :)
