Although you didn't finish your thought, I believe you want to know how I am related to 
Kevin Bacon?  I am 18 degrees of separation form him on my mother's side of the 
family.

We are actually all related to him in some way.  That's the beauty of ancestry research.  
We find our connections to anyone, anywhere.
