The Prius reliably got around 50 MPG and the Fusion gets around 40 MPG but it is a much sturdier vehicle. Anyway, the car started making a whirring noise which bothered me, so I took it to the Ford dealer. I found out that the normal warranty is 75,000 miles, but the transmission is warrantied for 100,000 miles. I have around 98,000 miles on it now, so the work will be done for free and a $0 deductible. The dealer also gave me a free loaner car since I purchased the vehicle was purchased from them I really love the car because it can be flat-towed behind my RV, and that is the reason I chose it in the first place. I don't luck out very often, but I am happy I purchased it. Mike Dippel --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A48 (Windows/64) * Origin: Mystic Hobbies BBS mystic-hobbies.com (21:2/125) .
