Sorry about the discussion, honestly. I didn't really mean to make it about you personally, and it's rough to have that happen, even if it was preventable. Controlling a vehicle is impossible to do 100% perfectly, and sucks that your luck ran out when you made that particular mistake.

But sounds like no one wound up injured, and since you've talked about insurance, it seems like nothing really life-changing happened for anyone, so I hope the problems are minimal.

My condolences on the well-love 2014 Prius being totaled, regardless. I hope you are able to find a good replacement that meets a less sudden fate, when you're done with it in however many years.
