What I'm still not entirely used to, is that "lemonade" in Germany is presumed to have sparkling water in it.

Which, with my American understanding of "lemonade" being what you get when you take lemon juice (fresh-squeezed or otherwise) and add sugar and still water, is a bit weird.

But, for the previous poster, I would be surprised if a convenience store had only sparkling water, at this point. Yeah, sparkling water is popular (and cheap), but getting it without the bubbles seems common.

But on that sort of note, I find it odd that flavored sparkling water is still fairly uncommon, here. Meaning the type that has sparkling water and flavoring, but no sweeteners, artificial or otherwise. Though it seems to be becoming less uncommon.
