For me, I can't eat the "fake" stuff.

One time, during Lent (I'm Catholic) some of us were having a cookout on
a Friday and my roommate tried to be considerate and got these salmon
burgers (attempt at hamburgers made out of salmon, not like a patty
shaped salmon).

Let's just say, while I appreciated the thought, it could have been the
worst thing I ever tasted (and for the record, I love seafood, especially
salmon).
