She figures instead of I'll eat the fake bacon, but it's not _good_. I like Impossible burgers, though, and while I'm sure that all the super-processed stuff is not healthy, it's probably still healthier than keeping and establishing a colony of bacteria that feed on red meat and release nasty things into my bloodstream. (Not that I'm objecting to what other people eat; my diet is awful. I will not judge people on their diets or choices, if they don't judge me on mine. Mind you, I'm _happy_ to have arguments over the proper way to prepare pies, or where the best cheese comes from (Wisconsin)). pF> eating vegetables shaped like meat, she'll just stick to vegetables. I pF> can get behind that. Yeah, reasonable enough. But I do enjoy eating the fake meats. If I had a burger-made-from-cow-flesh every so often, I might feel differently. But most of the time I'm trying to find things to eat that taste decent enough and don't require much in the way of prep time, as I'd prefer to spend my productive time elsewhere. Even though I have some ability to cook, especially after having gone to culinary school. pF> I'm a full on meat-eater. My son is lactose intolerant. My daughter is a pF> picky eater, and my wife vegetarian. I'm the cook in the house and need pF> to make something to satisfy everyone. That... sounds like a challenge. About the worst I get is that sometimes I'm around vegans, and have to make various substitutions or exclusions to make it work. Though happily, there, it's usually where the vegan is fine with eggs from the pet chickens that live there. And I find eggs to be the hardest thing to substitute in a way that I'm happy with, when used as a binder. --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A47 2021/12/24 (Linux/64) * Origin: Storm BBS (21:2/108) .
