Yeah, I have a FT-736R as well.  I was given the basic radio by a friend who
bought another one.  I've optioned up the FT-736R with 6m and 23cm, as well as
CTCSS.  It's become my main VHF/UHF radio.

Turning it into a remote base with a heap of open source software was fun too.
